The Orion Center is a day-time drop-in center for at risk, runaway, and homeless youth. It provides case work, counseling, education, physical and mental health services, recreation opportunities, and meals. Orion is a collaborative effort between diverse agencies, including Seattle Schools, the Seattle Police Department, and health care for the homeless.
Volunteers are needed to prepare part of a meal for Orion Youth on the 4th Monday of every month. You can make at home or buy part of a ready meal and bring it to St. Bridget’s for delivery. A volunteer driver is needed to deliver the meal to the site.
During the Christmas season, Orion Center is a grateful recipient of the Annual Giving Tree at St. Bridget’s.
