Lenten Little Black Books are available for pick up after Mass. The books are a mediation of the Passion, according to John. They are a companion for Lent.
Rice Bowls are available for pick-up after Mass. We encourage everyone to participate in this meaningful Lenten tradition. This year, instead of returning your filled bowls, please count your collected cash/coins and donate online. Thank you for your generosity!

Dear Friends in Christ,
The essence of the Partners in the Gospel plan we have begun is to collaborate more deeply in the mission of the Catholic Church here in NE Seattle. And what is that mission? The late Pope Benedict XVI summarized it this way: 1) To worship Christ in the Eucharist. 2) To proclaim the gospel, the good news of Christ’s love for everyone. 3) To care for the poor and vulnerable everywhere. In mid-January, about 50 people gathered to watch the film, "Cabrini," to hear an update about the Rivera family and to contribute toward the fund for the family's living and legal expenses. Well over $1,000 of much-needed and very much-appreciated money was contributed. Watching St. Frances Cabrini's advocacy for destitute immigrants in the early 1900s was inspiring and motivating in the face of church and civil opposition. Learn more...
Exciting news for our parish and the Laurelhurst community: Seattle’s Finest Patrol Company will launch a new neighbor-sponsored security patrol in the neighborhood. St. Bridget’s parking lot will serve as the designated home base for their vehicles. This partnership will add an added layer of safety to our parish grounds, ensuring a more secure environment for all who visit.
Seattle’s Finest is a well-respected patrol service staffed by retired police officers. Its presence will provide visible, professional security throughout the neighborhood, deterring crime and promoting peace of mind. Importantly, the company is not affiliated with ICE or any border enforcement agencies; its sole focus is on community safety.
With the patrol operating in close proximity to St. Bridget’s, we can expect increased vigilance around our church property, adding an extra level of protection for parishioners, staff, and visitors. We welcome this development as a positive step in maintaining a safe and welcoming space for all.
If you would like to learn more about the security patrol or sign up for the service, please click HERE.
Dear Friends in Christ,
The “Partners in the Gospel” strategic plan invites us to identify as a family of four parishes in the process of eventually becoming a single canonical parish. Part of that process is still belonging to our immediate parish family while also beginning to relate more and more to our extended family of parishes. Continue reading...
Introducing the “Cenacle” Lenten series. The word “Cenacle” refers to the “Upper Room,” where Jesus gave his disciples the Eucharist, washed their feet, and taught them of the Father’s love and the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is also the place where Jesus regathered the disciples following his resurrection to “breathe” on them the Holy Spirit and send them out as missionaries. Learn more...
