Dear Friends in Christ,

This summer we as a parish are happy to welcome the “Kids Place” preschool program which is relocating to St. Bridget’s for the coming school year after operating at neighboring St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church for some 20 years. The school is familiar to many St. Bridget and ASB Families who have sent their children to this program, serving kiddos ages 2/12 to 4 years old. They summarize their educational philosophy as “Learning through play.” Sounds fun! During the school year, the program serves about 15-20 children Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to noon. Besides the rental income, another benefit for St. Bridget’s is that we will be welcome to use the school's play areas and art room when they are not in session. That’s a great gift to offer all the kiddos in our parish!

As we welcome Kid’s Place to our parish for the year, let us remember the words of the Lord Jesus: Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. (Matthew 9:14).

p.s. A deep word of thanks to our parish staff who have graciously given up some of their workspace to accommodate our renters for the year!
