Dear Friends in Christ,
We have officially joined together as a family of parishes as of July 1. I hope you feel welcome to participate at any of the times we schedule Mass in our family. I am glad to notice that many of our folks who used to attend the 5:00 pm Saturday Mass at Assumption and St. Bridget’s, now attend the 5:00 pm Saturday Mass at OLL and St. Catherines. Conversely, I’m glad to see folks who find the 10:30 am time at OLL and St. Catherines a little late on Sunday, making their way to the earlier 9:00 am at St. Bridget and Assumption. Given our future as a single faith community, please remember that wherever you attend Mass, you are doing so in your parish. I do ask however that you maintain your registration and stewardship at the parish you’ve been attending in recent years.
The other update is to once again welcome Debra Willcoxon Ricard, who begins her ministry as our Director of Pastoral Ministries this Tuesday, September 3. Debra will be responsible for coordinating all our liturgies and music, faith formation and sacramental prep, evangelization, and social outreach. I emphasize she will coordinate those who serve in these ministries, which means all of you! Stay tuned to hear more information about how you can become involved in serving in our NE Seattle Catholic Community! Your family needs you!
