Partners in the Gospel Listening Sessions Summer 2023
What: Multiple opportunities to express your ideas and meet and listen to other parishioners as we consider the changes ahead for St Bridget parish as we join with other parishes to form a parish family.
Why: During this four-year change we believe that regularly listening to each other will build stronger relationships and ensure our parish leaders are in sync with the intentions of the parish.
When: June 11 after 9:30 am mass and June 12, 7:00 pm. Listening sessions will also take place in September.
Childcare is available for both the Sunday morning and Monday evening sessions!
How: Following the synodal listening format, small groups will reflect on two questions with dedicated time for listening to each person. The two questions for our summer 2023 sessions:- The transition to a Parish Family and then to one new parish is a big change. What emotions (hopefulness, fear, reluctance, optimism, etc.) do you feel as you contemplate this change?
- In the Fall, St Bridget lay leaders will have an opportunity to comment on our proposed parish family (being grouped with other existing parishes). What is most important to you about our new parish family?
