Dear Friends in Christ,

This weekend we celebrate the beautiful feast of the Ascension of the Lord, where Jesus gives us the great commission to “Make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them all I have commanded you and remember I am with you always, to the end of the ages.” (Mt. 28:16-20).  

Making disciples of Jesus happens one person at a time. This weekend we welcome Blake McKinley who will be baptized, confirmed, and receive his first holy communion at our 5:00pm Mass. We also welcome Brodie, Molly and Rose Bennion who will be baptized at our Sunday 9:30am Mass. Welcome to all these new brothers and sisters in the Lord! A special word of thanks to their parents, God parents and family who have supported them for this important moment in their spiritual journeys. What a joy it is to see our parish growing in the life of the spirit!
