Dear Friends in Christ,

This past Wednesday, July 12, I joined 27 members of our staff, pastoral council, finance and stewardship council, and several parish members at large for a leadership retreat day. It was a wonderful opportunity to pray, share fellowship, and reflect together on our parish mission, values, and goals as outlined in our 2023-2025 strategic plan. The added focus of the retreat was to reflect on how we can continue to grow as a St. Bridget parish community, even as we prepare to merge with other local parishes in the Partners in the Gospel strategic plan.

One of our goals at this point is to foster a more engaged and inclusive parish community by inviting more and more parish members to contribute their gifts in the various ministries we offer at St. Bridget’s. To assist in our growth in this area, I am happy to announce the hiring of two individuals who will share the job of Program Coordinator to help facilitate greater engagement of our members in parish life. Please welcome Melissa Malley and Anne Lovinger Earhart to our parish staff. They will each be working for the parish 10 hours a week and will begin their jobs toward the end of the month. You will hear more from them as they begin to work on deepening everyone’s participation in the life of the church.
