Thank you for your welcome for Fr. Duc and myself as we begin our service to our family of parishes. I am particularly grateful for your patience as we go through the adjustments of changing schedules and staff roles to better serve our communities. I have appreciated the good quality of liturgy and music in all four of our parishes. I am particularly grateful to see the number of people from Assumption and St. Bridget who have made their way to the 5:00 pm Masses at OLL and St. Catherine. Please feel welcome at any and all Masses in our family.
It’s important to me to keep you as informed as possible about developments that impact our family of parishes. One is that I am in the process of hiring two new staff who will serve the family as a whole. The first is the position of Director ofOperations who will oversee the administration of all four parishes including facilities management. The second is a Director of Pastoral Ministries who will oversee liturgies, faith formation, sacramental life, and evangelization. These positions which I hope to fill by the middle of August, will help coordinate the operations and ministries of parish life, including the recruitment, training, and support of the many volunteers that make a Catholic faith community vibrant. Thanks to all of you who generously serve our parish communities. We always need more, so please consider volunteering your time and talent at any of our parishes. That goes for our young people. We need you too!
Blessings on your summer,
Fr. William Heric, Pastor
