A blessed Christmas! I offer a warm word of welcome to all visitors who have joined us for our Christmas liturgies which continue through January 9th, the feast of the Baptism of the Lord. Please consider keeping most of your holiday decorations up until then to extend the celebration well into the new calendar year!
After almost 42 years as a priest, I’ve learned that sometimes it’s best to let the word of God speak for itself without commentary from me. So please savor these select verses from the Gospel of John 1:1-14. They are rich in grace and light!
Merry Christmas!
Fr. William Heric, Pastor
In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things came to be through him, and without him, nothing came to be. What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth.
